Founded by Jackie Weight, the only non-American to have won the Jack Daniel's Invitational BBQ World Championships. We're sole UK and EU distributors of Cookshack's commercial and competition smokers - which can be found in most of the UK's leading BBQ joints. We were the first to import pellet grills into the UK. First, early-days Traeger, and then Green Mountain Grills. We are now proud to be part of the family supplying Traeger Wood-Fired Grills in the UK. Our other great brands we've found on our travels include Cook-Air, Flaming Coals, and La Caja China. None of our products use gas. |

Many years ago, our Pit Boss/Managing Director, Nick, planned on opening an authentic barbecue restaurant in the UK. He spent four years travelling to the USA, meeting and cooking with the owners and pit masters of over 30 leading BBQ joints in 11 States, and learning the art of barbecue from luminaries such as Mike Mills and Ed 'Fast Eddy' Maurin. He is a KCBS Certified Barbecue Judge. Having extensively researched the types of commercial smoker best suited to the UK market, he was in the process of purchasing Cookshack equipment from Jackie when he was offered an opportunity to buy into the company. It was his Remington Moment! Nick's favourite BBQ dish is Slow Smoked Mutton Shoulder (in the style of Moonlite BBQ, KY). |

Our Pit Master (Sales & BBQ Consultancy), Darren has been with the Company for over 10 years. Prior to that he was a professional chef with over 25 years' experience in the food service and food product development sectors.
His knowledge of the day-to-day reality of running a food service business, his ability to talk 'chef', and his love of barbecue, enables us to offer our commercial clients practical solutions as well as consultancy and in-situ training, repairs and servicing. Darren has also spent time with States-Side Pit Masters and BBQ joints, and honed his skills under the watchful eye of Fast Eddy (and Nick!). His Burnt Ends are to die for! |
