Workhorse Pits 1969 Cowboy Edition
The flagship Workhorse Pits offset smoker, the “1969”, can easily handle three US-size briskets and is at home in the backyard as it is on the competition circuit.
Weighing in at over 335kg, this solid, US-built stick burner features 8mm (3/8”) thick walls (amongst the thickest you’ll find in a backyard smoker), and delivers a basic cooking area of 5,096sqcm across two grates totalling 104cm x 49cm.
To ensure the 1969 smoker burns extremely evenly, Workhorse Pits used the same computational fluid dynamics as their sister company, Primitive Pits, in its design. No need for tuning, no need to keep moving your meats about.
This version of the Workhorse Pits 1969 comes fitted with a 63cm x 49cm Cowboy Grill that converts the firebox to a direct heat source for when you want the great taste of grilling over wood – flexibility that lets you take your outdoor cooking to a new level
Supplied in the UK in Workhorse Pits’ extremely popular RAW finish coating with linseed oil, this is offset smoker looks as awesome as your slow-smoked meats taste! And what’s more, no two units look the same – your 1969 will be truly unique!
